AI FIRST COMPUTER IN A COMPUTER - PRIVACY POLICY

AI First Computer in a Computer runs a Linux desktop entirely on your Mac.
The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.

WHAT WE COLLECT: NOTHING
- No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no advertising identifiers.
- The app does not phone home. We have no servers that receive your data.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Files, settings, and anything you create inside the Linux desktop are stored
only on your Mac, in the app's container and on its virtual disks. We never
have access to them.

HOW LONG IT IS KEPT, AND HOW TO DELETE IT
Because none of it reaches us, we keep nothing and there is nothing for us to
delete. Your data stays on your Mac until you remove it, and you remove it
yourself.
The Linux desktop's virtual disks live in:
~/Library/Application Support/com.franzai.sandboxedlinux/
They are large - roughly 50 GB once the desktop has been used - and they are
NOT removed when you drag the app to the Trash. Anything you saved inside
Linux is in there, including any API keys or credentials you placed in the
guest's ~/.env or its configuration files. The files are protected by your
macOS account and by FileVault if you have it switched on; the app adds no
separate encryption.
To delete everything:
1. In the app, choose Factory Reset. This erases the Linux disks, including
your home folder inside the guest.
2. Then delete the app, and remove the folder above if anything remains.

NETWORK AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Linux desktop has internet access so you can browse and use online
tools. Any websites, AI providers, or other services you choose to use
inside it - including the bundled AI assistants, which sign in with your own
account or API key and send your prompts to the provider you chose - are
governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We do not receive,
store, or process that activity.
The on-device AI (apfel), where available, runs locally on your Mac and does
not send your prompts anywhere.

PURCHASES
The subscription is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see or
receive your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is
governed by Apple's privacy policy.

CHILDREN
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from
anyone, including children.
